Little Herbert, Son of Dr. J. A. Larue, Died

One of the saddest deaths that has occurred in our town for some time was that of little Herbert, son of Dr. E. A. and Mrs. J. A. Larue, who died at his home half past three o'clock on last Saturday morning, the 20th, in the 12th year of his age. The evening before he was unusually cheerful, and did not complain in the least of feeling unwell. The next morning he was lying in the cold embrace of death. Although his health had not been good for some time, his death was unexpected at the time and its suddenness a great shock to the whole community. Epilepsy, accompanied by paralysis, was the cause of his death.

The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, from the residence of his parents, and was largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev. J. M. McCutcheon. The remains were interred in the Bloom cemetery.

The deceased was a bright and interesting child, and his death is a great loss to his parents and friends.
