  • A family reunion was held on August 28, 1918 at the old Reunion grounds on Knapps Creek in Virginia.
  • The reunion was for the family of the late Henry Sharp.
  • All nine of Henry Sharp's children were present, along with their families.
  • A total of forty people attended the reunion.
  • The reunion was a pleasant day, and Clifford Ervin announced that he was engaged to be married to Miss Jennie Wells.
  • Mrs. Campbell gave a talk about her recent trip to the Holy Land.
  • Henry Sharp and his wife, Caroline, were married in 1866 and celebrated their golden wedding anniversary some years ago.
  • They had ten children, all of whom are now living except for one infant who died during the Civil War.
  • Henry Sharp and Caroline Sharp spent their entire lives in Pocahontas, Douthards Creek.
