Death of William C. Blair

 William C. Blair, a prominent citizen of Pocahontas County, died at his residence in Marlinton, on Friday, the 11th inst., aged 72 years. Mr. Blair was a native of Rockbridge county, Va., and was a graduate of the University of Virginia. He came to this county many years ago, and was for many years a successful merchant and banker. He was a man of great intellectual ability, and was highly respected by all who knew him. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his loss.

Funeral Notice:

The funeral of William C. Blair will take place on Monday, the 14th inst., at 10 o'clock a. m., from his late residence in Marlinton.
