5 religious questions for a person over 75
Dear Salty,
I am a 75-year-old Christian, and I am struggling to maintain my faith in the face of my own mortality. I have seen so much suffering and loss in my lifetime, and it is difficult to reconcile this with the image of a loving and all-powerful God. I know that the Bible says that "God works all things together for the good of those who love him" (Romans 8:28), but I often find it hard to believe this when I am going through difficult times.
Can you offer me any words of wisdom or encouragement?
Bible quotation: "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:17-18)
Bible reference: Psalm 23
Dear Abby,
I have been married for over 50 years, and my husband and I have always shared a strong faith in God. How can I best support my husband during this difficult time?

How can I stay connected to my community and avoid feeling isolated?
