Big Spring Fork Valley Caves are located in the northwest part of Pocahontas County, West Virginia, near the town of Linwood. There are over 60 caves and pits in the valley, but most of them are relatively small and contain short crawl-ways and passages. The two largest caves in the valley are:
- Sharps Cave: This cave has over a mile of mapped passages and is known for its large rooms and formations.
- Clay Pit Cave: This cave has almost half a mile of mapped passages and is known for its narrow passages and mud.

- Dry Fork Cave: This cave has over 1,800 feet of mapped passages and is known for its large rooms and formations.
- The Pit: This cave is a 100-foot deep vertical pit that leads to a small room at the bottom.

Big Spring Fork Valley Caves are popular with cavers of all experience levels. However, it is important to note that some of the caves are dangerous and should only be entered by experienced cavers with proper equipment.
