Its OK for the public to attend public school board meetings.

 protestors

The last time an item affecting student health (Covid) was brought up with the board, numerous people with signs came to be heard.  They were made to wait in the hall until an LSIC board meeting was held.  I came to that meeting and was told to leave.  When that meeting was completed, the public was allowed in but they were told to not bring their signs with them.

This time the issues involve students education and mental health.  Cutting teachers and programs is unacceptable...especially for a system that gets 45 percent more money than the average school in the state.

Signs are a form of speech!
