There is a huge 2 story building sitting empty next door to Marlinton Elementary School.
An elementary school is historically the ultimate Family Resource Center!
Children are a part of a family.
Schools have Parent-Teacher Associations.
The school system contracts with outside entities to provide services to children.
The school system has had staffed positions in the past providing family services.
One position provides school care for homeless children now.
It's going to cost the county $$$$$$ to tear down to tear down that building.
It could be rent-free!
It has its own elevator.
