   • ELA Performance: Scores range from a high of 0.757 (Asian) to a low of 0.339 (English Learners). The 'Military Connected' subgroup also performs well (0.665). Subgroups such as 'Children With Disabilities' (0.345), 'Foster Care' (0.461), and 'Black or African American' (0.474) show significantly lower mean performance.

   • Math Performance: The variation is even more pronounced in Math. Scores range from 0.749 (Asian) down to 0.317 (Children With Disabilities). The gap between the highest- and lowest-performing subgroups is over 43 percentage points.

2. Variations in Academic Progress: Progress scores (growth) also show clear differences.

   • ELA Progress: The 'Asian' subgroup shows the highest mean progress (0.705), while 'Children With Disabilities' shows the lowest (0.361).

   • Math Progress: 'Asian' again leads in progress (0.716), with 'Children With Disabilities' (0.320) and 'Homeless' (0.352) subgroups showing the least progress.
