Prudent Man

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it 1 shall be given him. 2

Proverbs 8:12: I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.
Proverbs 13:16: Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.


Proverbs 8:12: "I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions."


Proverbs 13:16: "Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly."

    Prudence and knowledge: This verse emphasizes the connection between prudence and knowledge. A prudent person actively seeks and applies knowledge.


    Fool and folly: In contrast, a fool lacks prudence and exposes their foolishness through their actions and words.


         Proverbs 14:15: The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.   

Proverbs 15:5: A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.

Proverbs 16:21: The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.

Proverbs 19:14: House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.

Proverbs 22:3: A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.  

Proverbs 27:12: A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.
