Where will people spend eternity?

The Bible teaches that there are two possible destinations for people after death: heaven and hell. Heaven is a place of eternal life with God, free of pain and suffering. Hell is a place of eternal death, where there is only torment.

The Bible also teaches that the decision of where a person will spend eternity is based on their relationship with God. Those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will go to heaven, while those who have not will go to hell.
Of course, there are other religious and philosophical traditions that have different views on the afterlife. Some believe in reincarnation, while others believe in a state of nothingness. However, the belief in heaven and hell is the most common view among Christians.

Ultimately, the question of where people will spend eternity is a matter of faith. There is no scientific evidence to prove or disprove the existence of heaven or hell. However, for those who believe in the Bible, the choice of where to spend eternity is a very real one.

Here are some verses from the Bible that speak about heaven and hell:

Heaven:

"And he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4)

"In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." (John 14:2-3)

Hell:

"And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet were also. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." (Revelation 20:10)

"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life." (Matthew 25:46)
