The Hare and the Tortoise
A hare was boasting to a tortoise about how fast he could run. The tortoise laughed and said, "You may be fast, but I am always sure to finish a race."
The hare was so confident in his speed that he agreed to race the tortoise. The race began, and the hare shot off like a rocket, leaving the tortoise far behind.
The hare was so sure that he would win that he decided to take a nap under a tree. Meanwhile, the tortoise plodded along slowly but surely. He never gave up, and he eventually crossed the finish line before the hare even woke up.
The hare was very disappointed, but he learned a valuable lesson: it is not always the fastest who wins.
Moral of the story: Slow and steady wins the race.
