Stephen Sewell

Stephen Sewell actually lived in the hollow of a very large sycamore tree! Pretty wild, right? Apparently, Sewell and Marlin were living separately, with Sewell choosing to make his home in the tree.

It's hard to imagine what that must have been like, but it's definitely a unique piece of Pocahontas County history.

It just goes to show that people can make a home out of the most unexpected places!
