Mother Ruth Gum Ruckman, children of Rachel Ruckman
Gum who was born in this house and raised there.
The family built a new house to live in during early 1940’s and still
stands and owned by Member of Gum descendants.
The old log house is totally gone.
My grandmother
Rachel had a number of things made from lumber such as magazine racks, toy
chests or linen chest and a lovely corner cabinet still used in the current dwelling

James Gibbs was Ruckman relative. We
have his history re his sewing machine.
