Create a poem about "bear hunting on Caesar Mountain" in the style of Jerry Clower. Make the mood hearted and happy.
Now Cecil, you know me, ain't one for braggin' tall,
But huntin' bear on Caesar's mighty sprawl,
Is somethin' special, like a potluck spread,
With laughter shared and memories fed.
We wake up afore the rooster crows his song,
Coffee hot, biscuits waitin' all along.
The truck bed piled high with coolers, snacks, and cheer,
Enough supplies to last a whole dang year.
Up Caesar's slopes we climb, with muscles achin',
But every step a story nature's makin'.
Deer tracks windin', squirrels castin' darts,
And the crisp mountain air mendin' weary hearts.
We set our sights, hush as a cottontail's twitch,
Hopin' for a bruin with a cunning little switch.
But even if the bear don't show his face,
There's joy aplenty in this wild embrace.
Maybe a turkey gobbles, a hawk circles high,
The sound of silence sings a lullaby.
We share some stories, some laughs, some tears we shed,
For on this mountaintop, true friendships are bred.
And if by chance, a bear ambles into view,
The thrill is real, what dreams are made of, true!
But win or lose, it ain't about the hide,
It's the company, Cecil, the bond that's our pride.
So next time you're feelin' kinda down and out,
We'll grab our rifles and head on up, no doubt.
For Caesar's Mountain waits with open arms,
To mend the soul and keep us safe from harm.
