Alternative ideas related for use of the Frank Tannery Building

 

1. Historical Preservation: Convert the Frank Tannery Building into a museum or cultural center to showcase its historical significance and the evolution of the tannery industry.
2. Educational Facility: Establish a vocational school or training center focused on leatherworking, craftsmanship, and heritage skills, preserving and passing on traditional knowledge.
3. Redirect the $96,000 annual rental for the New Blue building located on the same property from the Greenbrier Economic Development Authority to the Pocahontas County Commission to to fix the roof.
4. Redirect the Slaven $$$$$$ to it. (approx $250,000) 
5. Use the money saved for the Courthouse Annex and help the upper end of the county.
