Ronald Reagan's first wife was Jane Wyman.
Wyman was a successful actress in her own right, winning an Academy Award for Best Actress in 1948 for her role in the film Johnny Belinda. She and Reagan met while filming the movie Brother Rat in 1938 and married two years later. They had a daughter, Maureen, in 1941 and adopted a son, Michael, in 1945. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 1948.
